So I thought this might be quite helpful to share with people, maybe others are asking the same questions as me. I went online and used the live chat with a makeup artist on MACS website and it was actually super helpful. Here’s how the conversation went down…
I would love to know, the best blending brushes by MAC, or most popular, or just the essential eyeshadow brushes that you think everyone should own.
So I would really recommend 3 main Brushes to cover most eye look Phoebe, firstly the 239 Eye Shader Brush for Powders, Rounded Edge, Shades Eyes and packs on colour.
Then the 217 Blending Brush for Powders/Creams shadows, Oval Shape, Blends Shadows out for a flawless look!
And lastly the 219 Pencil Brush for Powders/Creams, Pencil-Shaped, for adding any Definition using eye shadows or eye liner.
Yeah amazing very helpful. Are there any other blending brushes that you recommend too?
I personally love to use the Mac 224 larger Blending Brush also so it’ s another ideal option for buffing and blending out shadow.
Whats the best medium coverage concealer?
I would recommend using our Prep and Prime Highlighter, a pen-style highlighter that efficiently brings a soft, sheer wash of colour to skin with a touch of added coverage for areas such as the forehead, nose and under eyes. (Click here to see an identical product but with more variety for skin tones).
And for full coverage?
Full coverage option would be our Pro Long wear Concealer lightweight fluid formula provides medium-full coverage with a natural-matte finish. Once set, it is transfer- and water-resistant, and wears for up to 15 hours. This non-comedogenic, oil-free concealer will effectively cover dark spots, blemishes and under-eye circles.
So there we have it folks, pretty helpful and it was quick and easy to use the online chat service.
